The hottest salt on earth got a little hotter this week as models from lingerie/swimsuit/fashion giant Victoria’s Secret used the natural wonders of Bonneville Salts as a back drop to show off their own natural wonders.

According to the Bureau of Land Management’s Roxanne Tea, the models graced the Salt Flats for three days this week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
“We were told the shoot might be for their fall collection this year,” Tea said.
Victoria’s Secret was started in San Francisco, California, in 1977 by Roy Raymond, who felt embarrassed trying to purchase lingerie for his wife in a department store environment. He opened the first store at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, and quickly followed it with a mail-order catalog and three other stores. The stores were meant to create a comfortable environment for men, with wood-paneled walls, Victorian details and helpful sales staff.
Raymond sold the company in 1982 and since then it has become one of the largest lingerie companies in the world.
Every year its four seasonal catalogs are eagerly awaited not only by fashion conscious woman but by millions of boys and men for obvious reasons.
Located just three miles east of Wendover, the Bonneville Salt Flats is one of the most unique natural features in Utah. Stretching over 30,000 acres, the Bonneville Salt Flats is a fragile resource administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Thousands of visitors, commercial filmmakers, and of course, high speed auto racers, make the Bonneville Salt Flats a world famous destination.
