The West Wendover Wolverines Boys Cross Country team won the Division III Southern League Championships on Friday, October 26th at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Boulder City, Nevada. This is the second League win for the team as they won in 2009 as well. The team is led by senior Jose Landeros. Landeros ends his career on a high note, medaling in several races this season and winning the meet held in Wells, Nevada in September. Landeros also has the Wolverine Cross Country record with a time of 17:16, which he set this season in Winnemucca on October 5th. The team is coached by Kim Reamer.
