A man described as a “dangerous gang member” was captured by the West Wendover Police department without incident Tuesday.
Wesley Bonilla-Rosado is in the Elko County Jail awaiting extradition to Florida on unspecified felony charges following his arrest at a West Wendover apartment Tuesday.
According to a WWPD press release Bonilla-Rosado was involved in a fight in a local casino but fled before police could arrive. He was identified along with his outstanding warrent from the state of Florida.
The warrent described Bonilla-Rosado as a fugitive from justice and as a dangerous gang member.
Police arrived at his West Wendover home at 1658 Buena Drive #2 and Bonilla-Rosado surrendered without incident.
