Tristan Sweat, a graduating senior at Wendover High School was administered the Oath of Enlistment into the United States Navy by retired Chief Warrant Officer USN Alan Rowley at a school assembly on 26 May 2014. Sweat will report to the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois on 1 October to begin recruit training. Upon completion of “boot camp” and a period of leave, he will report for training as a Hospital Corpsman where he will study for approximately one year. Upon graduation from the Navy school he will be assigned to a unit in the fleet.
