West Wendover police busted a drug ring without any drugs, said WWPD Chief Burdell Welsh Tuesday.
“We were called by the Peppermill about some suspected drug use in one of their hotel rooms,” Welsh said. “When our officers arrived they located three individuals later identified as Justin Tippets, Randy Tippets and Bonnie Graham. While police saw numerous plastic baggies most commonly used for the packaging of drugs they found very little actual drugs. However we did run their identification and it turned out that two of them (Graham and Randy Tippets) were wanted fugitives from another state with $30,000 bonds each. both warrents were drug related.”
The two were arrested and transported to the Elko County Jail. Justin Tippets was also booked on a trespassing charge.
