Jose Landeros, a sixteen year old West Wendover youth, died tragically Monday when exiting I-80 at the Aria Boulevard off ramp. According to UHP Trooper Sergeant Nathan Powell, Landeros was killed instantly after crashing into the exit’s retaining wall. The teen had just acquired his drivers license less than two months previously. The accident’s cause is still under investigation by the Utah Highway Patrol.
