White Pine County Sheriff Dan Watts said he would move ahead with his plans to modernize his department following his narrow victory in the November election.
“I met with a lot of people during the campaign,” Watts said Monday, “ And we will do our best to address their concerns.”
Watts beat challenger Penny Jo Robison by just four votes confirmed the White Pine County Clerk’s office after a preliminary recount was concluded last Friday.
While the victory was extremely narrow Watts was the only county incumbent to win re-election this time at the ballot box.
