The patriarch of a northern Nevada fireworks family, Gabriel “Red” Cassorla passed away on November 28 at 99 years old.
Cassorla was predeceased by his wife, Sarah and sister, Hannah Confino. He is survived by his loving sons, Earl and Steven; brothers, Morris and Joseph (Francine) and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cassorla was a former owner of Central Wholesale Grocery Corp.
13 years ago Red and sons moved west to Battle Mountain to open the Roller Coaster Fire Works.
