A Utah drug dealer was nabbed after breaking the first rule of dealing narcotics— taking your own stash
Joseph Jaramillo, 32, Hurricane Utah was arrested Monday. WWPD officers were alerted to Jaramillo’s rather bizarre behavior after information that he might have been selling narcotics within the local casinos.
Jaramillo was located on a gaming floor of the Wendover Nugget and consented to an interview. While speaking with Jaramillo the officers suspected that he was under the influence of illegal narcotics. Jaramillo was also found to be in possession of items that were suspected drug paraphernalia.
It was learned that Joseph was staying in a hotel room with female friend. The woman allowed the officers to look through the room. Other items were located in the room within Jaramillo belongings. Jaramillo was booked on charges of unlawful possession of a schedule 1 narcotic, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs and unlawful use of a controlled substance.
Total bail was $22,000.
