Two Las Vegas men were booked into the White Pine County Jail on a total of $ 1 million bails for drug trafficking.
Saturday a White Pine County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle traveling through the Ely area for a traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Leonardo Trimino-Noble age 34 of Las Vegas, NV. The officer reported that Trimino-Noble was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. The Deputy reported that due to Trimino-Noble having an outstanding warrant he was taken into custody. During the inventory of the vehicle he was operating Deputies located over five ounces of methamphetamine.
The Eastern Nevada Narcotics Task Force obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and located a 40 caliber handgun which had been stolen out of Las Vegas, NV. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Jose M. Flores-Tellez age 26 of Henderson, NV. He was also arrested. Florez-Tellez was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, and ex-felon in possession of a firearm.
Trimino-Noble was arrested for trafficking a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of stolen property, ex-felon in possession of a firearm, driving suspended, and license plate lamp required. Both individuals are being held at the White Pine County jail on$500, 000. Bail. Investigation into the incident continues.
