A court date in Elko turned into a nightmare for a Wendover couple with enough legal troubles already.
Ivan Arbaca and Andrea Peebles both of Wendpverwere in Elko Sunday for a Monday morning court date and were staying at their mother-in-law’s apartment. According to police reports the couple decided to go for a ride taking the older woman’s 1999
Chevy Blazer. She reported it stolen and shortly before midnight the Wendover couple was spotted driving by the Red Lion Casino.
The were charged with vehicle theft as well as minor drug counts their total bail was just under $50,000.
