The Easter Egg Hunt (for children), organized each year by the Wendover Recreation District, had a slower turn out due to the late snow in the year. The event was from 10 am to noon, at the new Ball field. Still, more than 300 kids attended, about hundred per age group.

The Wendover Recreation District would also like to acknowledge and thank the volunteers and sponsors that continue to help make the annual Easter Egg Hunt the success that it is. The Boys scouts and Jagg were some of the groups helping out.

While at the Wendover High School soccer field, at the “Over 55 Egg Hunt” organized by Alan Rowley, more than 30 seniors, plus spectators, and cadets braved the weather to gather the eggs which held candy, gifts, and certificates.   All had fun. The 88th Bomber Cadet Squadron, were there to give a hand here and there and Mr. Alan Rowley, who organised the event, was helpful  and smiling too, as usual.  Because of the weather, the luncheon was re-scheduled. It was the first snow storm on Easter since 1993.
