During the recent West Wendover High School Track Meet, four runners from Wendover High School not only won the 4 x 200 event, but broke the school record doing it. Dallan Murphy, Uriah Trammel, Dace Sweat, and Jason Shepherd got into the WHS record book with their winning performance. Eight schools competed in the meet, Wendover Utah, West Wendover Nevada, Ely Nevada, Elko Nevada, Eureka Nevada, Battle Mountain Nevada, Wells Nevada, and Owyhee Nevada. The different categories were Shot Put, Discus, Triple Jump, High Jump, Long Jump, Relays of different lengths, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Hurdles, in both Girls and Boys events.
