After spotting a vehicle reported stolen on Idaho Street, Elko P D arrested two men on suspicion of drug counts. According to police reports, 29-year-old Jose Chavez went to jail on several felony counts to include trafficking and possession of stolen property. Their drug sniffing K9 alerted authorities to two bags containing 32 grams of meth. The officers arrested also a passenger, 36-year-old Baltazar Rangel-Servin for possession of drug paraphernalia after he tried to dispose of a meth pipe in the trash can. The Elko Police also recovered a gun reported stolen in Elko two years ago. Both suspects were booked into the Elko County Jail.
Also Police arrested 40-year-old Joshua Pearson, from Salt Lake City Utah, for commiting a felony crime, with a
bail total of $5,500. , 21-year-old Anthony Martinez, from Spring Creek, for drug use and possesion with a $6,380. bail, 28-year-old Donald Glidden, from Elko, for domestic battery, and disturbing the peace, with a bail total of $4,280., and Adrian Berry, from Elko, for domestic battery, and disturbing the peace, with a bail total of $3,495.
