The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Eureka County on Thursday. Sergeant Alex Perez say that a driver was traveling south on State Route 278, near mile marker 76 when he collided with a truck towing a manufactured house and crashed down an embankment.
NHP troopers say 52-year-old Scott E. Floyd died at the scene, while the second driver, 28-year-old Matthew Erickson was not hurt.
The crash is still under investigation.
