Christopher Haycock attended the National Leadership Conference in San Diego, California, July 2-July 8. Christopher went with his teammates to State, in Reno last April, but he was the only one to qualify to go to State. The West Wendover High School Family Career and Community Leaders of America member went with his adviser and parent/chaperone, Kim Haycock.
His project was “to provide his West Wendover High School Wrestling Team with a Sport Nutrtion to maintain or loose weight in an healthy manner”. There were three level of Awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze, and Christopher got the Silver.
This year had even more attendants than last few years with more than 8,500 advisers, members, and guests, representing all 50 states and the Virgin Islands.
