Comments were about the bureau of land management owning most of Nevada, about the wild horse situation, Sage grouse and other land management problems.
One thing to remember is our local law enforcement and government should be the first place you go with your questions or concerns. If the local cannot help, you need to then go to the state.
This was a very informative meeting. I thank Attorney General Adam Laxalt for coming to White Pine with this opportunity to know more about the State and for his fight against the Federal government.

Connect Nevada Highway 90 Broadband
Fiber optics cable has come from Reno to Ely. There is a Nother section of fiber optics from Las Vegas to Pioche, existing fiber optics from Ely to Pioche are to be connected and this will provide more availability for high-speed Internet in our area.
The fiber optics needed to get good broadband has arrived at the door steps of Ely. Now we need a provider to take it into businesses and later into homes. What is needed is businesses to group together so a new provider knows where and what type of service is needed. There could be several providers involved.
Connect Nevada will be sending out questionnaires, data information in this area in an effort to gather information as to the usage and needs of our area.
