The long awaited non-conference Wendover Wildcat versus West Wendover Wolverine volleyball tournament took place Wednesday on the 14th of this month. The rival teams both have been improving in the recent years, so this week’s tournament was a good fight. The Wolverine JV team won 2-0 in best 2-out-of-3, and the Wolverine varsity team won 3-0 in best 3-out-of-five. While the Wolverines had won each match, the Wildcats fought hard, falling only a few points behind each match. Both the West Wendover and Wendover, Utah teams look forward to a good season this year.
