Lt. Don Lininger told us that interviews have been completed with all other family members that were in the home at the time and that the injury was caused by a single shot from a high powered rifle.
Lininger also said that there were no signs of drugs or alcohol being a factor. And that now the case is being reviewed by the Elko county district attorney to determine if any charges will be filed based on the interviews and evidence presented.
