Mugged For His Marijuana

Two Elko men were booked on $150,000 bail each last Thursday after a resident accused them of pistol whipping him and stealing his marijuana.

According to police, the men had visited a residence on South Seventh Street. They told police they returned Wednesday night to retrieve a wallet that one of them had left behind.

Lt. Mike Palhegyi said the resident claims Benjamin C. Kinkade, 20, pointed a handgun at him and began hitting him with it. Then Kinkade and Andrew J. Barber, 21, allegedly took his cellphone, computer tablet and two ounces of marijuana.

Kinkade, 20, was arrested at 1732 Crestwood Drive for burglary while in possession of a gun, and robbery. Barber was arrested at 811 Westwood Drive for burglary while in possession of a gun, and robbery with a deadly weapon enhancement.

April 7th, 2018:

Gabriel Read, 25 years old,  from West Wendover, NV, DUI Fail to maintain lane improper lane change Bail at $3,765.

Edward Bronson, 52 years old, from Galveston, TX, was arrested on Wendover BLVD, for a threat to his life, and disturbing the peace. Bail at $1,495.

• Arrested near an Elko  school, Nicholas Thompson, 24 years old,  from Tucson AZ, Conspiracy  to commit a non-felony crime, Draw a Deadly Weapon in a threatening manner, Disturbing the peace, Carry a gun without a permit, Bail at $40,710,

and Neil Thompson, 55 years old,  from Bullhead City AZ, Conspiracy  to commit a non-felony crime, Disturbing the peace, Bail at $5,710.

April 8th, 2018:

Max Parker, 59 years old, from Ogden UT, was arrested  at the Rainbow Casino for being a Fugitive Felon from another state.
