The W. Wendover Branch Public Library of the Elko-Lander-Eureka County Library System had a great turn out for the 2018 Summer Reading Program sponsored by Barrick Mines. Participants log their reading time, attend special craft events, and receive good job prizes. This year Steven Kemper, son of Wendy Kemper, age 11, read 48 hours over a 6 week period. That is 2880 minutes as our top reader. Last year Steven read 2160 minutes. This year 42 active participants read a total of 26, 290 minutes. Great job to all for those 438 hours of summer reading!

September 18th be ready for more Family Literacy and STEAM events. The W. Wendover Library will once again have programs on Tuesdays after school at 3:45.
