In the race to be our next Governor, it’s clear that only Adam Laxalt understands the issues and challenges facing rural Nevada, including the importance of standing up for our mining industry.

Adam has taken the time to visit our rural communities, meet with mining industry leaders, and see the incredible, innovate ways they’re contributing to our thriving economy. In a recent meeting with industry leaders in Elko, Adam made it clear he recognizes the mining industry is a critical pillar of our economy and a powerful economic engine — creating jobs and improving people’s lives.

He also knows Nevada’s miners are highly responsible stewards of our environment and natural resources. The industry has an outstanding record of compliance and working as a partner with the state to protect the environment and ensure employee safety. Adam recognizes that mine workers are good neighbors and active members of the communities where they live. Whether it’s donating tens of thousands of hours to service organizations or raising funds for education at all levels, mining gives back far beyond its value to the economy.

Adam Laxalt

Many people running for office pay lip service to Nevada’s problems. But Adam Laxalt has shown that when it comes to protecting rural Nevada — not only promoting a strong mining industry, but also standing up for our ranchers and protecting access to our land and water — he’s got the vision and the courage to fight for us.
