This past few days, all three West Wendover Schools distributed computers to their students. More or les about 75 to 80 % of all the student went with their parents, staying in cars, to pick them up. The Elementary school did it on Wednesday to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades and on Thursday to the 5th and 6th grades. For the Middle School, the High Desert Advocate talked to Brooke Eldon. For the Elementary School, the High Desert Advocate talked to Julia Eldon. For the High School, the High Desert Advocate talked to Nancy Rodriguez. Nancy said that about 80% out of 155 students received computers.
If students were out of town, they will be able to talk to the school through their teachers for the Elementary school, and on the 1st day of school for the High School, on September 8th.
