Elko County Police Arrests:
• Grace E. Brunner, 24, of Carlin was arrested at Lamoille Highway and Metzler Road on a warrant for failure to appear after bail on a misdemeanor crime. Bail: $500.
• Eloy G. Diaz, 37, of Elko was arrested at 874 Juneau St. for two felony counts of willful or malicious torture, maiming or killing of dog. Bail: $10,000
• Dean R. Johnson, 47, of Spring Creek was arrested on the Eureka Highway on a felony warrant for theft. Bail: $20,000
• Amanda M. Lipps, 22, of Elko was arrested at 2065 Idaho St. for intent to utter fictitious bill, note or check. Bail: $5,000
• Daniel J. McCoy, 43, of Elko was arrested at 810 Front St. on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and for resisting a public officer with a firearm and false statement to obstruct a public officer. Bail: $46,140
White Pine County Police Arrests:

• A deputy was attempting to serve a civil paper on a male subject, when the subject refused to accept the paper. The subject fled the area, after being told to stop by the deputy. The subject was located a short time later, and again refused to stop or accept the paper. The subject, identified as 41 year old Barry Francis, of Ely, was arrested for obstructing and delaying an officer.Barry Francis / Obstructing a peace officer / Bail $640
• Emily Edmonds / Elder abuse and probation violation / no bail . The reporting party, a person over the age of 60, reported being battered by a female during an argument. The female, identified as 37 year old Emily Edmonds, of Ruth, was arrested for battery of an elder person and violating her probation.
• During a search incident to arrest, she was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance. 33 year old Sabra Anne Higbee, of Ely, was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Sabra Higbee / Warrant for fraudulent acts of gaming, possession of methamphetamine, use of drug paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance / Bail $7,000.
