Mayor Daniel Corona said that the Meals on Wheels program for the West Wendover area started this past February 1st, 2021, providing a hot meal once a day/midday (delivering from 11am to 1:30 pm) Monday through Friday at no cost to anyone living in West Wendover who is 60 or older. 

    “So far we have 40 people in our community who have signed up and we are looking forward to signing up more!” said the mayor to the High Desert Advocate last Tuesday.

The Jas Foundation and Senior Center is situated at 1930 Plateau Way, West Wendover, Nevada. 

    It also serve as a Food Bank for anybody in need, specially in these hard times. The Food Bank is open Mon. Tue. Thurs. Fri. 11am – 2 pm( closed Wed. Sat. Sun.
