The upstart electric car company Faraday Future is going  to start construction at a Las Vegas-area production plant. The cars that Faraday Future produces impresses even the young computer and electronics savvy generation.

Nevada has pledged up to up to $335 million worth of incentives. Company executives, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee and Clark County commissioners Steve Sisolak and Marilyn Kirkpatrick are expected at this Wednesday afternoon ceremony at the North Las Vegas site.

Gardena, California-based Faraday expects to employ some 4,500 people at a 1.6 million square-foot factory that could cost $1 billion to build at the Apex Industrial Park.

If you wish to attend the ceremony, the site is off Interstate 15, about 25 miles northeast of downtown Las Vegas.

The state has promised $215 million in tax breaks and $120 million in road, rail and water improvements at the site.
