The Reno Fire Department put out a blaze that engulfed a vehicle last Thursday afternoon on U.S. 395 at Golden Valley Road.

Firefighters responded to a fire on the southbound roadway that consumed the front part of a white Hyundai, according to Facebook posts from the department.

A spokeman for fire department told the High Desert Advocate that  the driver of the vehicle pulled over after the engine started producing smoke.

Once a fire engine arrived on scene, the car was fully engulfed.
