REPORT REPORT OF AN ARREST
Officer reported that Christopher Nilo age 38 of McGill was arrested on a Fallon, NV Justice Court warrant.
REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT
City — officer reported while patrolling the Ely area he located a telephone pole that had been struck by a vehicle, causing extensive damage to the pole. The striking vehicle had fled the scene. During the officers investigation the vehicle and operator were located. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Chazz N. Gregersen age 25 of Ely. Gregersen was arrested for hit and run unattended property, failure to report accident and D.U.I.
REPORT OF A POSSIBLE BURGLARY
City — officer received a report of an individual who was breaking into a home. Officer contacted the individual who had been locked out of her home and was attempting to gain access.
REPORT OF A HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT
Reporting party stated that someone had struck a fence and trailer with a vehicle and then fled the scene. A report was completed.
REPORT OF A THEFT
City — reporting party stated that a renter of a room had stolen some items when they checked out. Investigation continues.
REPORT OF PROPERTY DAMAGE
City — officer received a report of a window on a vehicle that had been broken. Officer contacted a witness to the incident who informed him that the window broke on its own. A report was completed.
REPORT OF A RECKLESS DRIVER
Officer received a report of a semi-truck that had struck a power line causing damage to the line and power boxes. The semi-truck driver was located and returned to the scene to obtain information on the accident.
REPORT OF A PRIVATE PROPERTY ACCIDENT
City — Shasta Drake of Ely reported that her vehicle was parked at a local store. George Panagopoulos of Ely was operating a vehicle passing by Drake’s vehicle. As he did so he struck the side of Drake’s vehicle. An accident report was completed.
REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT
Reporting party stated that an indidvual had shot some type of gun towards her children. Investigation continues.
REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM
Officer received a report of several juveniles who had climbed onto a local school roof causing damage to some of the property. The juveniles were contacted along with their guardians. Investigation continues.

City — Mandy Carson of Ely was operating a vehicle traveling on Aultman Street. She stopped her vehicle behind another vehicle which was turning into a private drive. Ralph Gubler of Ely was operating a vehicle and failed to stop his vehicle behind Carson’s causing an accident. Gubler was issued a citation for following to close and an accident report was completed.

City — officer reported that Preston E. Mike age 30 of Ely died at a local motel. Mike was transported to the Clark County Coroner Office to determine the cause of death. Investigation continues.
REPORT OF A PROBLEM WITH A SUBJECT
City — reporting party stated that his neighbor had been over watering his yard and it was flooding his yard. Before officers arrived the water had been turned off.

City — officer reported that James V. Lafferty age 36 of Ely was arrested on two Ely Municipal Court warrants and on a warrant out of Good Spring Township Justice Court

City — the area was patrolled, but no inured deer was located.

City — reporting party stated that she had been sexually assaulted. Investigation continues.
REPORT OF A DISTURBANCE
City — officer received a report of an individual causing a disturbance at a local business. The individual was contacted and identified as Steven Crutchfield age 33 of Lodi, CA. Officer reported that Crutchfield was arrested on two Lander County Justice Court warrants and one Elko Justice Court warrant.
REPORT OF A FRAUD
City — reporting party stated that a local business had done some work for her and now they are charging her more money. She was advised to speak to the business to rectify the situation of to take them to small claims court.
REPORT OF A DOMESTIC BATTERY
Reporting party stated that her husband had battered her and would not let her leave the residence. During the officers investigation Jason E. Robinson age 41 of Ely was arrested. Robinson was arrested for domestic battery and false imprisonment. He is accused of battering his wife and not allowing her to leave their home.

City — reporting party stated that someone had stolen his propane tank. The incident was documented.
REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT
Officer contacted the individual and identified him as Sean P. Rawson age 44 of Missoula MT. During the officers investigation it was discovered that a warrant had been issued for Rawson for a parole violation out of the state of MT. Rawson was arrested and transported to the Public Safety Building. During his arrest he was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a concealed firearm.

City — reporting party stated that someone had stolen his sons bike. A report was completed.

City — officer reported that he located an individual who was urinating in public and exposing his genitals. The individual was identified as Spencer G. Nielson age 60 of Delta, UT. Nielson was arrested for lewd acts.
REPORT OF A THEFT
Officer received a report of an individual who had turned his water back on after the water district had turned it off. The indidvual was contacted and issued a citation for theft of utilities.
REPORT OF A FRAUD
Reporting party stated that someone had used her personal information to apply for social security benefits. She was advised to obtain an identity theft packet and to file it with the state.
REPORT OF A JUVENILE PROBLEM
City — officer received a report of a juvenile who was threating to harm himself. Officer is attempting to contact the parents of the juvenile.
REPORT OF A POSSIBLE FRAUD
City — reporting party stated that her ex-boyfriend was still using their shared banking account. Officer reported that the incident was a civil problem due to both parties involved are still on the account.
REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT
City — Sebastian Bauer of Germany was operating a vehicle exiting a private driveway. He failed to see a vehicle being operated by Leah Falder of Ely. Bauer’s vehicle struck Falder’s vehicle causing damage. An accident report was completed.

Kerri Pintar of Ely reported that she struck a deer on us 93 causing damage to her vehicle. A report was completed.
REPORT OF SUSPICIOUS LIGHTS
City — officer received a report of several lights that arched across the sky. Officer reported that several reports from news media indicated it was a meteor of space junk burring up.
REPORT OF A THEFT
City — reporting party stated that someone had stolen her wallet while she was playing slot machines at a local casino. Investigation into the incident continues.
REPORT OF A SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT
Reporting party stated that several individuals were hanging around a closed business. As officers were responding to the area the individuals left the scene.
REPORT OF AN ARREST
City — officer reported that during a traffic stop the vehicle he had stopped had been reported stolen. Officer reported that Samuel S. Wuo age 19 of Minneapolis MN and Clinton R. Jackson age 19 also on Minneapolis were both arrested for possession of stolen property.
REPORT OF AN ACCIDENT
City — Ronald Alexander of Salt Lake City, UT reported that she was stopped at a stop sign. Thao Tran stated that he was stopped behind Alexander. Alexander stated that Tran struck his vehicle from behind. Tran stated that Alexander backed up and struck his vehicle. A report was completed.

Reporting party stated that she bought a trailer that need some repair. She reported that someone had entered into the trailer and stole some wiring. Investigation continues.
