West Wendover Police Report July 1st to July 15th

• Angel Saldivar 24, West Wendover Nv, Warrant
On July 01, 2018, West Wendover officers observed Angel Saldivar at the Wendover Nugget Casino. It was known that Saldivar had a local warrant for his arrest. Saldivar was taken into custody without incident.
• Israel Velasco 31, Magna Ut, DUI
On July 02, 2018, West Wendover officers observed a vehicle travelling east bound in the 700 block of Wendover Boulevard. The vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The driver was identified as Israel Velasco. The officer suspected Velasco was operating the vehicle while under the influence. Velasco performed field sobriety testing poorly and was taken into custody for DUI.
• Dante Satterwhite 33, Salt Lake City Ut, Domestic Battery
On July 06, 2018, West Wendover officers investigated a domestic violence incident that occurred at the Montego Bay hotel. The victim identified her boyfriend as Dante Satterwhite. Officers were told that Satterwhite allegedly struck the victim at least twice during an argument. Satterwhite had left the area prior to officers arriving. The victim did not require any medical attention.
Satterwhite was later located, interviewed and taken into custody for suspicion of domestic battery.
• Miguel Gonzalez 19, West Wendover Nv, Forgery
On July 06, 2018, West Wendover officers were called to the Nevada State Bank to take a report of a male trying to cash a forged check. Officers identified Miguel Gonzalez at the scene. The bank employees said that Gonzalez presented a check to cash. Upon verifying the check, it was found to be stolen. Gonzalez told officers he received the check from a friend. Gonzalez filled out the check to cash it. Gonzalez was taken into custody on forgery charges.
• Patricia Rivera 50, Salt Lake City Ut, Trespassing, Battery
On July 09, 2018, West Wendover officers responded to the Wendover Nugget to assist security with an unwanted guest. Upon arrival Patricia Rivera was recognized by officers from a previous incident. Rivera was informed that she was trespassed and needed to the leave the property. Rivera argued with the officers and security, refusing to leave. While taking Rivera into custody she struck an officer. Rivera was charge with trespassing and battery on an officer.
• Jeanette Villa 37, Sandy Ut, Obstruction, Unlawful possession of narcotics
• Jorge Ramos 27, Kearns Ut, Burglary, Unlawful possession of narcotics
• Idalia Hernandez-Torres 25, West Valley Ut, Unlawful possession of narcotics
On July 13, 2018, West Wendover officers responded to the Rainbow Casino to take a report of a vehicle burglary. While responding the suspects left the area in a vehicle which was tracked by surveillance to the Montego Bay. Officers soon located the vehicle which was observed travelling on Wendover Boulevard. A traffic stop was conducted, and the occupants were identified as Jorge Ramos, Jeanette Villa and Idalia Hernandez-Torres.
During the investigation the officers were able to locate and recover property taken from the victim at the Rainbow along with a small quantity of methamphetamines and paraphernalia. All three were taken into custody for unlawful possession of narcotics charges. Ramos was also charged with Burglary since he was the person who allegedly took the property from another vehicle.
• Draven Cisneros 22, West Wendover Nv, Hit and Run
On July 15, 2018, West Wendover officers responded to the Clearview Trailer park to investigate a report of a hit and run involving injuries. A pedestrian said that he was struck by a vehicle which then fled the area. The victim had minor injuries but refused medical attention.
Officers learned that the pedestrian observed a vehicle driven by Draven Cisneros pass him. Cisneros stopped, put his vehicle into reverse and struck the victim prior to fleeing. The victim believed this was done due to previous contentious contacts between he and Cisneros.
Cisneros was later located, interviewed and taken into custody for the hit and run causing injuries.
• Mary Sadzewics 56, Mountain Green Ut, DUI
On July 15, 2018, West Wendover officers received a report of a possible intoxicated driver leaving the Montego Bay travelling west bound. The vehicle and driver were soon located at the Peppermill Casino. Officers identified the driver as Mary Sadzewics. Sadzewics was suspected to be operating her vehicle while under the influence. Sadzewics refused to perform field sobriety testing and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Sadzewics was taken to the police department for evidentiary testing prior to being taken to the Elko county jail.
