This year, some Wendover schools had more students than last year, but some had less. Of course the Wendover population is very mobile across the border. And even if Wendover is in fact two towns, in two counties and two states, everybody feels at home wherever they are in town. The locals share five schools two Elementary schools, one middle school, and two high schools, and all are proud of their students and their own faculty. But when there is a joyous event like Cinco de Mayo, and the 4th of July, or a sad or tragic one, everybody is part of the same community, in happiness or in sadness.
