Elko police met the plane with a drug sniffing dog in tow and the dog enthusiastically alerted that this was no ordinary drug bust.

In the plane were three suitcases belonging to the man who had chartered the plane in California to fly to the Midwest. In these suitcases they found 86 pounds of marijuana, 2 pounds of methamphetamine and 1,930 Ecstasy pills.

Investigators believe the marijuana, meth and Ecstasy pills were being transported to the mid west. Julio Caesar Zaragoza-Romero, 38, was booked on three counts of trafficking. Authorities believe the contraband may be connected to cartel activity.
