Some 18 of the 26 members of West Wendover 2002 State Championship football team were honored Friday at this years homecoming game of the West Wendover Wolverines. Along with the players coaches Dallas Larsen and head Coach Brian Poole along with a majority of the 2002 cheer leading squad were also on hand.
“It was so nice to see so many of the players from the team,” Poole said. “It was truly a wonderful season and I am proud to be a part of it.”
