Wendover(UT&NV)-The Christmas Festival organized by the Recreation District took place, like so many years, at the Wendover Community building. A nice Christmas ambiance was in attendance: A jovial Santa was there listening to children wishes while being photographed with them. A young man selling raffle tickets, patiently explained to each buyer how to fill them. A very smily lady, one of our own Librarians, served baked goods and drinks. On stage, Dancing little girls in red Santa outfits looked more like enchanted little elves. Mounts of beautiful Gift Baskets, Games, Toys, Electronics, donated by local benefactors, and patiently wrap by ladies from the Recreation District, where raffled out. And Joy spread to the faces of the winners while a few tears were shed from some young attendees.
