Tooele School District  and Wendover Utah Schools, Anna Smith Elementary and Wendover High school (will) open/start (next week) on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. All grades 1 to 12 except for Kindergarten who will start September 8th (after Labor Day).     

Tooele School District received a $325,000. check to help buy supplies to combat COVID-19 and to procure electronic devices to each student in Tooele County. 

West Wendover Schools: 

Teacher Work Day(were): Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday August 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th and 25th, 2020.

First Day of School: September 8, 2020 (after Labor Day)

It will be ON LINE learning only for the 1st Quarter until October 29, 2020. It might go into dual learning then “in person and on line” but might be re-assessed at a later date.

No sports this coming season, but sports should resume January 2nd, 2021. ( Some particulars will be assessed again at Elko County School District Board Meeting of September 8th, 2020)

West Wendover High School faculty: Mrs. Rasmussen retired last June, and will be replaced by long term substitute Nathalia Correa;  Front Office desk Rosanne Boatman will be replaced by Maria Perez ; Spanish Teacher Mr. Christansen who passed last spring of natural cause/heart disease will be replaced by Spanish teacher Mr. Tyler Olson; Family and Consumer Science Class Teacher Mrs. Walter will be replace by long term substitute Mary Cruze Escobedo.
