A Nevada man was killed Monday in a single car roll over near the Duck Creek Indian Reservation
According to the NHP press release the fatal accident happened about 2:30 pm, Monday. Troopers from the Ely District responded to a vehicle accident on State Route 379 near Duckwater, Nevada.
Preliminary investigation indicates Mr. Adam Wishon, age 29, from Duckwater, Nevada, was driving a Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on State Route 379. For unknown reasons, Mr. Wishon’s vehicle drove off the right paved shoulder. Mr. Wishon applied steering to the left in an attempt to regain the highway. The vehicle traveled back onto the highway and began to cross the center line. Mr. Wishon applied steering to the right which caused the vehicle to rotate in a clockwise direction. The Hyundai entered a broadside skid and traveled onto the right dirt shoulder where it overturned.
During rollover, Mr. Wishon was ejected and sustained fatal injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
