Wendover High School All-State Athlete (Volleyball) Jessica Cuevas stands next to the best men’s volleyball player in the United States, Taylor Sander who plays for the BYU Cougars. Prior to the game, Sander had 17 kills and 7 blocks as the Cougars defeated Pepperdine in 3 games. Miss Cuevas was named to the Utah All State Volleyball team and was excited to meet the All-American.
The trip was organised by the Wendover Civil Air Patrol Cadets leader Alan Rowley.
“We took 17 CAP cadets, 3 adults, and 7 other student guests. Jessica Cuevas is not a member of the CAP but she was an all-state vball player.” Rowley said.
