The West Wendover Police Department recognized Sergeant (Sgt) Jason Abrams at the West Wendover City Council meeting on May 06, 2014.
Sgt. Abrams has nine years law enforcement experience with five years at the West Wendover Police Department. Sgt. Abrams is currently a drug recognition expert (DRE) and is involved with the local schools, giving classroom presentations to students about drug awareness and abuse prevention. Sgt. Abrams looks forward to expanding his own career development as a supervisor, also using his experience and knowledge to train and mentor new officers within the police department.
Sgt. Jason Abrams had his family present at the meeting, with his wife Shannon having the honor of pinning on his lapel pins.
