WELLS, Nevada- One woman was injured in a six-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. Highway 93 south of Wells.

U.S. Highway 93 Monday, September 29th, had a six-vehicle pile up, with one woman injured. One commercial vehicle, which driver was distracted from unknown reasons, said Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Alex Perez, collided with four other cars being guided by a pilot car through  the construction zone. The driver didn’t slow down safely enough while approaching the rest of the vehicles. When the truck hit the five vehicles, one female driver was injured, with minor injuries and was transported to the hospital, Perez said. No one else was injured.

The investigation of the crash continues, Perez added.
