West Wendover High School Wolverines win against Silver Stage High School in Silver Spring.

Saturday West Wendover High School Football Team played Silver Stage High School in Silver Springs. The game being a defensive battle for the first three quarters with nether team able to score. Early in the fourth quarter Silver Stage was able to dive the ball up the gut during a West Wendover blitz for 90 yards for the first score.

The extra point was scored giving Silver Stage a 8 to 0 lead. On the ensuing kick off West Wendover Special Team was able to spring Luis Correa down the sideline for a 73 yard sprint to score. West Wendover was able to convert with a power run by Jaxon Carter up the gut to tie the game.
West Wendover Defense was able to seal the rest of the game not giving up another point even though they were pined at their 12 yard line due to a fumble by West Wendover. The Wolverine Offense then went to work scoring with passes from Zade Elton to Luis Correa and Billy Salazar combined with rushing attack from Carter and Bararcart behind the take charge offensive line of Haycock, Buxton, Hansen, Arias, Kyllonen and Hansen to bring the score to WW 22 SS 8.

The rest of the game was run after power run by the Wolverines 2 power backs Jaxon Carter and Wessley Bararcart burning the clock to win the game. The light went on for the Wolverines after the Silver Stage score and the offensive line along with the defense dominated the field.
