Monday’s snow storm prompted a “code red” mass telephone warning from the West Wendover Police to remain off the roads and indoor unless it was absolutely necessary.
The storm began around 6 pm and lasted until about midnight. Between four to six inches of snow was recorded in Wendover. Snow plows were out from sun up to the late afternoon clearing the streets. No new snow is predicted to fall during the New Years day holiday weekend . However the temperature is predicted to fall and not go over freezing for the next week and a half.
