Dear Ms. Becker,
I am writing to express my appreciation for the generous donation Newmont Mining Corporation made to the Foundations of Public Safety class at West Wendover Jr/Sr High School. We have received the Deluxe Moulage kit and I am currently developing lesson plans to implement its use in Foundations of Public Safety.
The kit includes more than 20 different types of wounds including chemical burns, lacerations, puncture wounds, fractures, etc., that students can practice bandaging techniques on. Plenty of fake blood, makeup, and adhesive have been included, so the students can practice quite a bit.
When the kit arrived, the students were anxious to check everything out and try to “scare” other teachers and students. They are definitely enjoying the idea of working with these supplies.
Please know that the moulage kit will be utilized year after year. The generosity of your company has definitely made an impact in our community and on the lives of our students. Once again, thank you!
